Sharon Charney paints colorful oil and acrylic paintings. Her subjects include the landscape, plants, and animals. Trees, mountains, the seashore, sheep and goats appear in her work. The painting is done either on stretched canvas, wood, or paper. Art work on paper is framed under glass or plexiglass.

"My subject matter comes from places where I have lived and traveled—from everything I have ever seen, tasted, smelled, heard and felt. Like a huge recipe from time, the ingredients are mixed together, sifted and sorted through some mysterious process in my mind."
